Felix Kulpa Gallery & Sculpture Garden:

I often find myself walking down Elm Street in Santa Cruz and pausing to see if the Felix Kulpa Gallery & Sculpture Garden is open. The grounds leading to the intimate art gallery are always over flowing with one of a kind fountains and sculptures and I've always wondered what the inside of the gallery would be like. Recently I was lucky enough to walk in during their business hours, Thursday thru Sunday: 12pm to 6pm. The location is painted a fresh shade of white and accented with iridescent green windows, dark beamed ceilings, and metal lanterns. Inside you can find a rotating array of artist's masterpieces. The current installment of electric wall sculptures had me in awe! I'm so glad I got the chance to visit this local spot, finally!

This was one of my favorite pieces:

Loved seeing this "guitar" as
walked out the door:

  7. WOW...these are amazing! I love neon lights, and it should not be limited to Las Vegas... I can't believe it gets cold enough in Santa Cruz for down jackets? That is crazy!
