You may have recently seen me make candied apples (recipe here), you may even have seen me make chocolate covered strawberries (recipe here), but now I've taken two recipes and combined them to make one ultra scrumptious snack, chocolate covered apples! For this batch of treats I selected sweet and delicious honey crisp apples and used both milk chocolate and white chocolate as a coating. A dessert easy enough to pull together and made even more special by dipping the freshly coated apples in various sprinkles as well as candied walnuts! I made these to take to a family Thanksgiving meal and I think everyone was just as pleased as I am with the outcome!
Please click the recipe links for my candied apples as well as my chocolate covered strawberries for methods and ideas on how to make this tasty dessert for yourself! I love the thought of mixing decadent chocolate with fresh and juicy fruits don't you?
Yours,
Nico

ReplyDeleteNico...wow does this look amazing or what? This could be in Harry and David's catalogue I am totally serious! OK I didn't know that you could even buy down jackets in CA, it seems like it is a state that a leather jacket is the max you'd ever need. Enjoy and I love this dark olive/forest green colour for outerwear selection!

These look like such delicious and fun treats! I'd much prefer chocolate covered to candied fruit. Can't wait to try this and your strawberry recipe.
