Jamaica, the refreshing beverage (not the travel destination) is surprisingly easy to make, supports a healthy immune system, and tastes divine! To create this ruby red beverage simply add boiling water to a pitcher with a handful of dried hibiscus blooms and a cup or two of sugar. Let the mixture sit at room temperature over night and serve chilled. Hibiscus blooms can be found at most Mexican markets or online by clicking here. The taste of Jamaica is that of tangy mixed with sweet. Although Jamaica is essentially prepared like a tea it's flavor is closer to a tropical fruit juice. I hope the next time you are craving a trip to Jamaica you will think of this Agua De Jamaica recipe!
