Cafe Delmarette:

"The Rita"- Toasted bread, potato pancake,
gruyere cheese, and chopped parsley.

When I wake up in the mornings, often times the first thought that pops into my head is "I should get breakfast at Cafe Delmarette." ....My second thought is that I should probably brush my teeth so I don't have morning breath while I devour an overly delectable sandwich at my favorite coffee shop. I digress, but what I'm trying to say is that this place is phenomenal, a must visit if you are in Santa Cruz! Delmarette's menu is short but each item they serve is filled with delicious freshness. The robust flavor of their verve coffees are an instant pick me up (Previously featured in this post) and even the ice tea they serve is filled with delicate aromatics. Each sandwich is crafted to perfection with house made garlic aioli and organic produce. Located downtown, nestled between The Del Mar theater and Staff of Life grocery, Cafe Delmarette always delivers a superb and healthy meal!

Lychee Peach Jasmine Iced Tea- Subtle hints of
fruits mix with the light flavor of Jasmine.

Hot Chocolate- It's made from scratch, `nuff said.

Aranciata- Like orange soda, but much less syrupy.

Passion Fruit Iced Tea- A darker more sultry blend of tea with
a strong tropical fruit flavor, my personal favorite.

"The Henry Miller"- Toasted bread with roasted
chicken, mozzarella, and sun dried tomatoes.

"The B.L.A" - Toasted bread, crisp bacon, lettuce, and avocado.
(This is my "usual")

You can find Cafe Delmarette at 1126 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA. 95060, or call them at (831) 420-1025. Oh and don't forget to check out the Delmarette on facebook by clicking here. There are tons of visually edible food and coffee related photos on the page!

Yours,
Nico

PS: You won't have any leftovers... but in the off chance you end up with a to go box feel free to send it my way for recommending such a delicious (and affordable!) restaurant!
