I was looking to score a few new nail polish colors for fall and have been looking every where. Over labor day weekend I found myself in Nordstrom browsing thru the delightful Deborah Lippmann and Butter London nail polishes, but at 15 to 20 bucks a pop I just couldn't do it. I knew there had to be fabulous nail polishes out there that had a much better value. Well, I searched and I looked and for my readers I have selected the best shades for the upcoming fall season and each is under 2! Only the best colors at the best price for you guys (my roomie luckily gets to use mine free!):
A shocking shade of vivid coral red (called "Red Tape") that I can't wait to wear with a matching "impassioned" lipstick I already own as well as my Marc Jacobs "Lola" perfume ring:
"FuchsiaRama" is a lovely magenta color just dark enough for fall weather but still maintains a little brightness. I imagine that it will pair well with my "Plumful" lipstick and coach bracelet:
Utterly shocking electric blue color called "Saved By The Blue" that I think will look great on a pedicure for a night out with open toed shoes. The ring on the left is a New York vintage find, and the other is House of Harlow:
I have fallen truly, madly, deeply, in love with this sultry emerald green color called "San Francisco" by Sinful Colors. The shade takes on an intense sparkle when under any light! (Plus you all know from this post that I think green will be a hit this season!) The earrings photographed with the polish are from Nordstom and the bracelet is from Banana Republic:
A neutral shade of gray polish ( NYC's "Sidewalkers") matches everything, but it also an unexpected and surprising color to wear on your nails! (The bracelets from top to bottom are: unknown brand, coach, hot topic, and Tiffany and Co.)
Do you have a favorite one?
Yours,
Nico
PS, All of these polishes cost me under 11 dollars! I'll get back to you on how long lasting they are later : )
I love all of these colors!! Time to go shopping!
