Strawberry, Lime, & Mint Sorbet:

Recently I was given the opportunity to write a recipe for Minted Magazine's online blog! There were a few challenges alone the way, the recipe needed to be prepared in under 30 minutes, had to be healthy, and (above all) needed to be easy enough to prepare with no special culinary equipment. If you have been following my blog for awhile you know that I specialize in sweet treats and I wanted to showcase that area of my culinary repertoire. However, most of the baked goods that I create require a standard or handheld mixer and take well over a half hour to prepare! Well, I got really creative and came up with a (truly addictive) fruit sorbet recipe! I know most of us love to devour ice cream by the bowl full but that can rack up calorie points pretty quickly. Sorbet is a much healthier alternative to ice cream and when made fresh at home the prep work is minimal and the ingredients are cheap! Plus with a flavor combination of tangy strawberries, zesty lime, and refreshing mint, you'll be coming back for seconds (and maybe even thirds!).
You can view my recipe on MintedMag's blog by clicking here. While you're at it, leave me a comment and let me know what you think! And if you have not already heard of Minted Magazine, it's a great online source for shopping tips, lifestyle guides, and of course, yummy recipes! I encourage you to check out Minted's blog

Yours,
Nico
