Spicy Marinated Olives:

Nothing could be more mouth watering than spicy marinated olives and this recipe is quick and easy to boot! Plus I used olives from the dollar store (You can't avoid this recipe because it contains the 3 things everyone wants: delicious, simple, and inexpensive!).

Start with a can of black olives, drained:

In a bowl add a quarter of a cup balsamic vinegar to 1 clove minced garlic.

Add desired amount of hot sauce and dried oregano, whisk together.

Mix in olives and let marinate for 20 minutes, add in olive oil. I used habanero flavored oil, you can purchase it here.

Serve however you would like! I ate my batch of marinated spicy olives with crackers and pistachios. These olives turned out sweet, spicy, and tangy. An upscale treat with low budget ingredients!

What are your go to snacks?

Yours,
Nico

  1. I can't cook to save my life. I love pita chips and garlic hummus, that is usually my go to snack. Now...this marinated olives looks like something I could make. I also have a pair of earring similar to the turquoise one in your post below! Hmmm I know what you mean about signs, when you have money to burn or are in the mood, there is nothing to buy!
